Base metal falls on subdued demand

Most of the base metals including copper, brass utensils scrap, aluminium utensils, zinc, tin and nickel fell at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amidst subdued demand from industrial users.

Tin prices declined by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,570 from Thursday's close Rs 1,590.

Nickel and aluminium utensils slipped by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 790 and Rs 117 as compared Rs 800 and Rs 127 yesterday.

Copper sheet cuttings and brass utensils scrap moved down by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 355 and Rs 285 as against yesterday's close Rs 360 and Rs 290.
 

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper wire bar edged down by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 380, Rs 370, Rs 360 and Rs 408 as against Rs 383, Rs 373, Rs 363 and Rs 411, respectively.

Copper utensils and zinc softened by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 336 and Rs 216 from Rs 338 and Rs 218.
