Base metals decline on global cues

The industrial metals were trading lower at the LME on rising concerns of euro zone debt contagion.

Nickel dropped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,065 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,060 and tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,285 from Rs 1,290.

Copper sheet cutting slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 461 from Rs 465 last weekend.

Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and aluminium utensils scrap edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 474, Rs 467 and Rs 112, respectively.

Copper utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting also softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 442 and Rs 325.
