Base metals end mixed on, global cues

Industrial metals were trading little changed at the LME after a better-than-expected US jobs report eased concern over growth in the world's biggest economy.

Brass sheet cutting and aluminium utensils scrap gained by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 326 and Rs 116 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 323 and Rs 113.

Copper scrap heavy moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 471 from Rs 469.

Copper cable scrap, copper armiture and copper wire bar inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 480, Rs 465 and Rs 508.

However, tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,245 from Rs 1,250.

 

Copper utensils scrap, brass utensils scrap and lead softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 438, Rs 314 and Rs 122, respectively.
