Most of the base metals prices strengthened at the non-ferrous metal market here today on firm stockists buying amidst sustained demand from industrial users.
Meanwhile, tin prices declined due to subdued demand from alloy industries.
Globally, the industrial metals were trading higher at the LME in early trade, underpinned by a shortfall in supply that has helped push prices close to their highest since early March.

Nickel gained by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,235 from Rs 1,230.
Copper sheet cutting climbed by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 476 as against Rs 472 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, brass sheet cutting, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc edged-up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 499, Rs 527, Rs 130 and 183.
However, tin dipped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,595 from Rs 1,600.
Copper armature inched-down by Re 1 per kg to Rs 479.
