Globally, the industrial metals surged at the LME in early trade and are set to post their biggest weekly gain this year.

Copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper wire bar zinc and tin all spurted by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 490, Rs 472, Rs Rs 518, Rs 177, Rs 1,590 as against Rs 485, Rs 467, Rs 513, Rs 172 and Rs 1,585 previously.
Copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 449 and Rs 334 as compared to Rs 445 and Rs 330 yesterday.
Copper sheet cutting moved up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 468 from Rs 465, brass sheet cutting edged up by Rs 2 to 353 from Rs 351 and copper scrap heavy inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 482, respectively.
However, Aluminium ingots eased by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 153 from overnight close of Rs 156.
