Filmmaker Scott Kalvert, best known for directing Leonardo DiCaprio starrer 'Basketball Diaries', has been found dead at his home. He was 49.
Scott was pronounced dead at 1:55 pm on March 5, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The LA Coroner's Office is investigating the death as a possible suicide.

The filmmaker has also directed iconic music videos such Will Smith's 'Parents Just Don't Understand', Salt-N-Pepa's 'Shoop' and Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch's 'Good Vibrations'.
He also directed the 2002 'Deuces Wild', starring Stephen Dorff and Brad Renfro. His most recent credit was for the 2009 musical 'School Gyrl's, on which he served as an executive producer.
