Eight cities in the country would take part in the upcoming school basketball league to be organised by the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) in collaboration with the IMG Reliance and state associations.
The school league will takes place over a period of two months till December and the winners from all the states would participate in the nationals to be held in April/May, 2014 in New Delhi, BFI said a media release.
The 2013-14 edition of the league would include two new cities - Indore and Hyderabad - apart from the existing cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai.
The league would have 20 teams per city (10 boys and as many girls teams) and 160 teams would be taking part in it, the release added.
