Wearing dark eye makeup and sharp hair, catwoman-like models walked the ramp through circular wires of light forming a tunnel to showcase the edgy collection which comprised of sheer clothes in colors of black and white.
"I am a big comic book fan, especially Batman, and this collection of mine shows how a girl from Gotham City would dress up. She is sophisticated and glamorous. Severity, sophistication and austerity are in the air for her," said Namrata.
The designer's young daughter is also a Batman fan. "She thinks she is from the land of Gotham, so this inspiration is going to stay with me for some time."
Her collection had a dash of color with floral prints digitally woven into fabrics like georgette, tulle and organza. Skirts, dresses, jackets and trousers, all catering to her inspiration, formed the mainstay of her collection.
"The embellishments and the digital prints were done keeping the Batmobile in mind," said Namrata.
Earlier in the evening designer Gaurav Gupta showed his neon-inspired collection called 'In a Cathode', which comprised of garments in fluorescent and neon colors of orange, coral and lime green.

The collection had a structured yet flowy feel with the designer weaving the vibrant shades into fabrics like cotton and georgette. It comprised of dresses, gowns, jumpsuits with innovative digital prints and pop colours
"This time my collection is inspired by neons and the whole collection is very put together. It's all very romantic, psychedelic and dramatic. I go mad about drapes so I have used them in my collection," said Gaurav.
The third day also saw designer Rahul Mishra showing his Kerala-inspired collection, turning the traditional 'mundu' into dresses and gown using natural fabrics.
Designer duo Alpana and Neeraj showed their collection inspired by the barren icelands of the earth, weaving geometric snowflakes into the clothes and using the fishtail cut to remind one of whales and other aquatic animals.
