The Batote-Kishtwar National Highway, which was closed due to landslides triggered by cloudburst last night, was reopened for one way traffic today.
Over 350 vehicles that were stranded due to the closure of the highway were first allowed to move ahead after the highway was partially thrown open.
"Last night the highway was closed due to landslides triggered by cloudburst in Baggar area of Doda district due to which over 350 vehicles were left stranded on the highway," a traffic police officer said.
He said the men and the machinery of the Border Boads Organisation (BRO) cleared the highway and restored it for one way traffic.
