Press Trust of India New Delhi
JD(U) MP Jai Narayan Nishad today demanded that battery-operated auto-rickshaws be allowed inside Parliament complex for ferrying MPs after he was denied entry when he came in the vehicle.

"Considering the prevalent fuel crisis, I appeal to all MPs to use battery-operated rickshaws while coming to Parliament and these vehicles should be allowed in the complex. The vehicle is environment-friendly and will save fuel," the MP said

Nishad made the demand after a battery-powered auto-rickshaw carrying him and former MP Brahmdev Anand Paswan was not allowed to enter Parliament complex and they had to walk down.
