Agro-chemical firm Bayer CropScience today posted a 52.02 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 176.10 crore for the second quarter ended of this fiscal on account of increase in income from operations.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 116.50 crore in the year ago period.
Total income from operations rose to Rs 1,241 crore in July-September quarter from Rs 1,050.40 crore in the comparable quarter year ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.

Shares of the company today closed at Rs 2,392.60 apiece on BSE up by 4.37 per cent.
