Bayer CropScience today reported 41% increase in net profit at Rs 55 crore for the quarter ended December 31.
Its profit stood at Rs 39 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 729.3 crore during the third quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 677.8 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

Bayer CropScience Ltd also informed that the Board of Directors, in its meeting held today, noted the resignation tendered by Tobias Marchand as a director of the company.
The board approved appointment of Regine Juergens, as an Additional Director of the company.
The resignation of Marchand is effective from January 31, 2015 and appointment of Juergens is effective from today.
