BBA graduate arrested for attacking man

A 30-year-old BBA graduate, a suspected member of the Tillu Tajpur gang, was arrested for allegedly attempting to kill a man who befriended his ex-girlfriend, police said today.

Sachin, a BBA graduate, was arrested on March 21 from near the Jheel Wala Park, Outer Ring Road, Sector-3, Rohini, they said.

Police said that a sophisticated 7.65 mm pistol with three rounds was seized from him.

During interrogation, he revealed that on December 10, he along with his associate Sonu had shot and injured one Manish Yadav, a resident of Gurgaon, who had befriended his ex-girlfriend, they said.

After shooting Yadav he had gone underground and had been evading arrest till now.

 

The Tillu Tajpur's gang and the Gogi Gang have killed members of each others gangs owing to rivalry and teams of Crime Branch are working to gain clues to members of the gangs.
