With the Micromax deal due for expiry with end of the current cricket season, the BCCI has invited new tender bids for the title sponsorship of domestic and international tournaments to be hosted in India till 2019.
"The Board of Control for Cricket in India ("BCCI") has published an ITT (Invitation to Tender) for the Title Sponsorship relating to the BCCI Home Series / Tournaments - both international and domestic - for the 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons," BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur was quoted as saying in a press release.
"The rights on offer include sponsor branding of the relevant series with the title sponsor logo, official designation as the "Title Sponsor" of the relevant International or Domestic Series, visibility at the stadium during both international and domestic matches, broadcast sponsorship rights, and a host of other rights."

"The ITT document will be available at the BCCI Headquarters at Cricket Centre, Wankhede Stadium, 'D' Road, Churchgate, Mumbai - 400020, between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm (between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturdays and excluding Sundays) from Monday, 22 June 2015 until Tuesday, 28 July 2015, at a cost of INR 2,00,000/- (non-refundable and non-adjustable), to be paid vide a Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Board of Control for Cricket in India," payable at Mumbai or Chennai ("Tender Fee")."
"Only parties that will purchase the ITT Document (or belonging to the same group of companies on whose behalf the ITT Document is purchased) will be entitled to participate in the tender process."
Consumer electronics giants Micromax Informatics Ltd had won the title sponsorship rights for international and domestic tournaments to be played in India for a fee of slightly over Rs.18 crore last year.
