British Council India is organising pre-departure briefings for Indian students who have received offer from UK institutions and will be leaving for the UK in August/September 2017 to begin their course.
These sessions will provide guidance on important dos and don'ts while they prepare for student life in the UK, a BCL release said today.
The briefing will also give students opportunity to meet and network with fellow students who have enrolled to study at UK institutions.
The briefing will include an interactive session with recently returned UK alumni who will share their experiences in the UK as well as a session on Tier 4 student visa applications and related procedures, which will be delivered by officials from the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI), the release said.
