BDL pays Rs 169 crore dividend to Centre

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a city-based Defence Public Sector Undertaking, today said it has paid Rs 101.35 crore dividend in the second and final round to the Central government for 2015-16.

Earlier, in March 2016, an interim dividend of Rs 67.62 crore was paid for 2015-16. The total dividend paid by the PSU for 2015-16 is Rs 168.97 crore, according to an official release.

BDL CMD V Udaya Bhaskar presented the dividend cheque to Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar in the national capital today, it said.

BDL achieved record sales turnover of Rs 4,163.58 crore and Profit Before Tax of Rs 850.26 crore for 2015-16, it said.
