Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu Thursday asked the MLAs and officials to be honest for the sake of the "Ram Rajya".
The governor's advice came on the occasion of the completion of 18 years of the Jharkhand Assembly.
"To establish Ram Rajya, it is necessary that the people's representatives, the people, officials and employees are honest," Murmu said.
An MLA's main work is to keep a vigil on the disposal of works by the executive and be cautious, aware and accountable towards the problems of the people, she said at a function held in the assembly premises here.
"On the occasion, I would say that the people choose their representatives with expectation, hope and faith. The representatives are responsible for solving the people's problems and developing their constituencies," she said.
It is the duty of the people's representative to create an environment by which the people can understand that he or she is honest, the governor said.

Murmu also congratulated BJP MLA Menaka Sardar on being chosen as the best legislator of 2018.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das, in his speech, said this is the last time the assembly foundation day is being held in its rented premises.
"The next assembly foundation day will be celebrated in the new Vidhan Sabha premises. It will be ready by May next year," he said.
He said assembly is not a political platform but a centre of the people's aspirations.
"India is known as the world's largest democracy. We should be proud of the fact that since Independence, we have been able to maintain its democratic form. Discipline and modesty are the basis of parliamentary democracy," he said.
The chief minister said that there is no shortage of talent among the youth of Jharkhand, adding the youth are aware of good education and doing well in sports.
Stating that Jharkhand is the land of heroes, Das said the state government has decided to set up statues of the state's martyrs of the freedom movement - Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Pandit Ganpat, Mehandi Raja, Sheikh Bhikhari - so that the next generation can get inspiration.
"Our Government will make a martyrs' memorial for all the heroes who sacrificed their lives in protecting the Bharat Mata. They would include Param Veer Chakra awardee Albert Ekka," he said.
Das said the state government also decided that if personnel of the police, paramilitary, or army embraced martyrdom, their family would be given 12.5 decimal land in their home district for accommodation to their dependants and 5 acres of land for farming.
