Addressing a rally in North West Delhi's Rani Bagh, BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi today said that it was her "real ghar wapsi" as she had extensively worked in the area during her time in the Delhi Police.

"This is my real ghar wapsi. I was appointed the DCP West in 1980 and following that I worked extensively here solving its traffic problems and also against all sorts of addiction," she said.

Later, at a rally in Dwarka, Bedi made attempts to reach out to the female electorate saying that women's security in the capital was her "full responsibility".

"We'll tighten women security, sleep in peace today, because I am on night watch. Go enjoy yourself, women security is fully my responsibility now," she said.

Bedi also sought to strike a chord with the crowd by calling herself as their "friend, "sister and mother".

"I am your mother and sister. You must have patience, you will have a friend in me. This is your own government, you all will sit on that chair," Bedi said.

BJP's Matiala candidate Rajesh Gehlot West Delhi MP Pravesh Varma was also present during the Dwarka rally.

Earlier, Bedi, who reached an hour late in the rally also met members of the Market Association of Dwarka.
