Beer maker Bira 91 eyes Rs 150 cr sales

Premium beer maker Bira 91 is looking to clock sales of Rs 150 crore this fiscal and have presence in 15 cities.

Besides, the company is aiming at leadership position in the premium segment and today extended its portfolio by adding two new beers - Bira 91 Light and Bira 91 Strong.

"We are aiming to have sales of Rs 150 crore this fiscal," Bira 91 Founder Ankur Jain told PTI.

The company is focusing on the premium beer space and will have presence in 8 more cities this quarter, he added.

"We have one manufacturing unit in Indore and soon we would have another one in Nagpur," he said, adding that it will push through its expansion plans.
 

Asked about investment, Jain said it was getting the same through leased plants only.
