Behcet's disease, one of the rarest immunological disorders where a patient suffers serious ulcerations in mouth and genitals, can now be treated with homeopathy.

A case study regarding the treatment was presented by homeopathic doctor A K Gupta at the 70th International Homeopathic Congress of Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI) held recently in Brazil.

Bechet's disease is one of the rarest immunological disorders where a patient suffers from symptoms varying from severe ulcerations in the mouth and genitals, severe joint pain to complete blindness.

Gupta, who is the Founder and Director of Om Vidya Institute of Homeopathy and Allied Medical Sciences, had earlier discovered an effective homeopathic treatment for the Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

A delegation of 36 homeopathic experts from India attended the five-day conference which saw participation of 1,200 delegates from across the globe.
