Beigh urges PDP workers to fulfil Mufti's dreams

PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Beigh today paid tribute to former chief minister the late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on the 40th day of mourning and urged the party workers to work assiduously to fulfil his dreams.

He was addressing a function organised to pay homage to Mufti, which saw attendance from PDP workers from different parts of Jammu region.

The PDP MP called Mufti a "statesman", saying his death has caused an "irreparable loss" to the state.

He said party workers should work assiduously to fulfil dreams of "Mufti Sahab".

Political leaders including BJP MLA Pradeep Parihar and Congress' Dharam Pal Sharma, besides Kashmiri Pandit migrants and people from all parts of Jammu paid floral tributes to Mufti.
