Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha said here today that she likes imperfection, as "being perfect is boring".

"I am far away from being perfect. I feel being perfect is boring. Imperfection is something that I like," Sonakshi told reporters at the music launch of her upcoming film 'Lootera'.

At the music launch Sonakshi sung a few lines of Amit Trivedi's composition 'Sawaar loon'.

However, when asked whether she was keen on taking up singing for movies, Sonakshi said, "I don't think I will sing. I will remain a bathroom singer."

'Lootera', directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, is a period romance drama set in the 1950s in Bengal.

Sonakshi says when Vikram narrated the story to her, she was sure that she could do the role.

"Usually whenever I am offered a movie, I always think of other actresses also, who could do the role. But for 'Lootera', I was sure I could only do it."

The actress said she didn't prepare for the role and just followed the directions of the filmmaker.

"I don't do any kind of preparation. I can only act when the camera is on. I spoke to Vikram often to understand what he wanted from me and that made things easy for me," she said.

The film will see Sonakshi romancing Ranveer Singh for the first time. It will release on July 5.
