Belgium's star striker Tom Boon today predicted a quarterfinal clash against India in the FIH Champions Trophy and hopes to come out on top against the hosts if it lines up they way he expects in the eight-nation tournament to be held here from December 6-14.

"All the 8 teams here will be playing to win and so every game of the tournament is going to be very tough. We will take one game at a time game, starting with Pakistan in the first match. We hope to well against them," he said.

"We are looking forward to meet India in the quarterfinals in front of their home crowd. We hope to play a good game of hockey against India and come out on the winning side," Boon said after a practice session here.

Belgium coach Jeroen Delmee said he was looking forward to a consistent performance from his young team in the prestigious tournament.

"We have the youngest team which will be playing in the tournament and we will be aiming to maintain consistency. It is difficult to tell where we stand at the moment as it has been almost a year since we played any big tournament unlike other teams," he said.

"The best part about the Champions Trophy is that you get to play against the world class teams. I hope we stay in good condition and perform well in the upcoming tournament.
