We export 12,000 tonne of apples and 500 tonne of pears to India, which is 4 per cent and 2 per cent respectively, of the total produce. The potential in the country is very high and by 2019, we expect to increase our total exports of apples to 10 per cent and pears to 5 per cent," Belgian co-operative Belorta General Manager Filip Fontaine told PTI here.
