Ben Affleck has created a shoe line for his Eastern Congo Initiative charity using colourful Congolese textiles.

The actor-and-director has collaborated with shoe company Toms to launch a line of fashionable footwear to benefit his own charitable organisation, the Eastern Congo initiative, reported Contactmusic.

The limited edition shoe line is made from colourful Congolese textiles and USD 5 for every pair sold will be donated to the Eastern Congo Initiative, which supports communities in the Congo.

The actor recently lived on just USD 1.50 a day to raise funds for the Live Below the Line charity campaign, which aims to help people living in poverty.
