Madras High Court bench has dismissed the plea of an assistant manager of a bank to direct the CBI inspector to submit prosecution copies in Tamil.
Justice A Arumughaswamy in his order noted that the prosecution had served its copies to petitioner R Karpura Sundara Pandian in a language known to him and his plea was only to drag the case.
CBI had filed a case against Pandian, working at a private bank in Tiruchi Cantonment, for allegedly committing a fraud by transferring Fixed Deposits of customers to his account.
