Italian super bike brand Benelli, which is selling its products with Pune-based DSK Motowheels in the country, targets to sell around 3,000 units in 2015-16.
"We are hoping to sell 3,000 super bikes. All these are CKD (completely knocked down) units," DSK Motowheels Chairman Shirish Kulkarni told reporters here launching the first outlet today.
The company currently has four outlets across the country and is planning to add five more, taking the total to nine by the month end.

The super bike segment comprises of various brands including Harley Davidson, Triumph, Honda, Suzuki, Hyosung and Kawasaki.
Besides Benelli, DSK Motowheels sells Hyosung range of motorcycles as assembled units. "Last financial year we sold about 1,200 units. By March 2015 we are expecting to finish 1,900 units", he said.
The company unveiled five motor cycles with the base variant -- the Tornado Naked Tre or "TNT 300" Super bike priced at Rs 2.88 lakh while top end TNT R 1,131 cc is priced at Rs 12.02 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai).
"Currently, the vehicles are assembled at our Wai facility near Pune. The investments made at the factory is about Rs 200 crore. We source the components from various places, assemble at the facility", he said.
