Bengal Chamber awards on excellence in MSME sector

The MSME sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector in the global as well as in the country's national economy over the last five decades, President of Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ambarish Dasgupta said here today.

Dasgupta who was speaking at the Chamber's annual MSME Excellence Award programme said it has showcased the excellent practices prevailing in the manufacturing and service sectors for MSMEs in the country.

The programme titled "Seminar for BCC&I Awards on Excellence in Best Practices of MSMEs" also aimed at creating a forum for sharing of knowledge, experience and knowhow in areas like manufacturing, technology, services and other aspects, he said.
 

The Bengal Chamber also rewarded and recognised the excellent practices in the MSME sector on the occasion.

The awards were given to those who through their work in the MSME sector contributed to the economic development of country and the world at large.
