West Bengal Congress will apprise Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde of the "worsening" law and order situation in the Trinamool-ruled state when he arrives on a two-day visit tomorrow.
"Law and order is getting worse with every passing day. We will submit a memorandum to Shinde over the worsening law and order in the state," WBPCC president Pradip Bhattacharya told PTI here.
Bhattacharya, who had written to Shinde about law and order situation in the state earlier, also demanded that the ensuing panchayat polls be held under the supervision of central forces.
"We want the panchayat polls to be held in a phased manner, at least in three or four phases. We also want the panchayat polls to be held under the supervision of central forces," he said.
