On Christmas eve, West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi today conveyed greetings and wished everybody a Happy Christmas.
In a statement issued by the Raj Bhavan, Tripathi said, "On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, I convey my heartiest greetings to the people of West Bengal."
The Governor was hopeful that the occasion would reaffirm everybody's faith in India's cultural heritage, spirit of friendship and fraternity among all sections of the society.
"I wish this joyous occasion provides opportunity to reaffirm our faith in the country's cultural heritage, spirit of friendship and fraternity among all sections of society," Tripathi said in the statement.
