West Bengal would have to significantly enhance its expertise in skill development to create more job opportunities, managing director and chief executive officer of National Skill Development Corporation Dilip Chenoy said today.
"As per a World Bank study, West Bengal ranked low among states in terms of creating entrepreneurship," Chenoy said at an interaction organised by Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industries here.
He said the trend would reverse since the gross capital formation of the state had turned positive in the last two financial years.
