"We won't change our land policy as we are confident of getting more investment for industrialisation through this policy," West Bengal Industries and Commerce Minister Partha Chatterjee said.
The government's existing hands-off land policy has come under severe criticism from the chambers of commerce as well as opposition political parties when several big ticket investment proposals stumbled on land controversies.
The minister said copies of the land policy were circulated among the chambers of commerce.
