The unravelling of the JMB module in Burdwan district in West Bengal has made people of Bangladesh anxious about terror activities in the state, noted Bangladeshi human rights activist and journalist Shariyar Kabir today said.
He said that an alert state government could have stopped JMB from setting up a network in Bengal.
"The unravelling of the JMB module in Bengal, which was working to create political instability in Bangladesh, has made the people of Bangladesh anxious and they are concerned about such things happening in Bengal," Kabir told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here.

"Had the state government been more careful in dealing with the increasing presence of JMB in Bengal, the terror outfit could have been stopped from setting up their network in Bengal," Kabir said.
Kabir said fundamentalist forces were only interested in spreading the poison of communal tension and instigate one religion against another.
