West Bengal today launched a two-day event here showcasing the state's unique Durga Puja festivities and tourism spots to attract visitors during the festival season.
"Tourism sector has been given high priority since the new government took charge in the state and several steps are being undertaken to boost the sector besides organising road shows," said Bengal's Tourism Minister Krishnendu Narayan Choudhury at the event.
