Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, as Chairman of the state body of the National Mission, directed authorities for submission of the current status of projects involving women's empowerment within a month, Social Welfare Minister Sabitri Mitra told reporters after the CM convened a meeting today.
The authorities were also asked for proposals for new projects, Mitra said, adding another meeting would be held next Thursday.
Mitra also said a new office would be set up soon at Jalasampad Bhawan in Salt Lake.
