Police have arrested the owner of the building that collapsed in Ejipura area here following a suspected LPG cylinder blast, killing seven people and leaving scores injured.
Gunesh was arrested last night, police said today.
The 20-year-old building, which collapsed yesterday, had been rented out to four families, police said, adding that it was yet to ascertain whether the building collapsed due to the blast or had weakened following incessant rainfall in the city for the past few days.

"Investigations are still on," he said.
The government has announced a compensation of Rs five lakh each for the kin of the deceased.
