Singers Justin Bieber and Beyonce lead the MTV European Music Awards with five nominations.
The EMAs are the European equivalent of VMAs, whose latest edition took place in New York last month.
While Beyonce has bagged nominations for best video ('Formation'), best female artist, best live, biggest fans and best local act (US).
While, Bieber, who won at last year's awards with five wins, has earned nods in categories-- best song for "Sorry", best male, best pop, biggest fans and best local act (Canada).
Adele is close behind with four nominations.
Rihanna, Drake, Kanye West, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd could all be looking at multiple wins, too, after finding themselves listed in three categories each.
The awards will take place on November 6 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
