Auto components maker Bharat Forge today reported a 33.91 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 234.45 crore for the June quarter.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 175.07 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal.
Total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,513.91 crore. It was Rs 1,283.7 crore in the year ago period, Bharat Forge said in a BSE filing.
The company said revenue from operations, part of total income, for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 is not comparable with the corresponding period a year ago due to implementation of GST since July 1, 2017.
The company's stock was trading 0.66 per cent up at Rs 643.65 apiece on BSE.
