Auto component major Bharat Forge today reported a marginal increase in company's standalone net profit at Rs 175.06 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted standalone net profit of Rs 174.49 crore in the same period the last fiscal, Bharat Forge said in a regulatory filing.
Net sales during the period under review stood at Rs 1,091.85 crore compared with Rs 1,108.88 crore in the year-ago period, down 1.5 per cent, it added.

On the other hand, sales outside India were down at Rs 637.93 crore as against Rs 697.47 crore in the year-ago quarter, it said.
Shares of Bharat Forge were trading at Rs 848.65, down 2.16 per cent on BSE.
