Srikar Bharat scored his career-best 308 as Andhra posted a huge 548 for five declared in their first innings before reducing Goa to 187 for eight on the second day of their Ranji Trophy Group C cricket match here today.
Goa still trail the home team by 361 runs with just two wickets remaining.
Bharat today converted his maiden double-ton into triple century that came off just 311 deliveries, studded with 38 fours and six sixes. He batted for 504 minutes.

Starting the day on 408 for one, overnight batsmen -- Bharat, resuming on 226, and Murumulla Sriram, on 108 -- put on 333 runs together for the second wicket.
Sriram scored a 254-ball 144 that included 20 boundaries and a six.
In reply to the home team's massive first innings total, Goa got off to a decent start with openers Amogh Desai (31) and skipper Swapnil Asnodkar (26) putting on 62 runs for the first wicket, but captain's dismissal triggered a collapse.
Wickets kept falling at regular intervals, although Darshan Misal came up with a solid 66.
DP Vijaykumar (3/54) claimed three wickets, while D Siva Kumar (2/41) and CV Stephen (2/41) chipped in with two wickets each.
