Bharat Oza of Mumbai and Sunder Iyer of Pune have been unanimously re-elected as the president and secretary general of the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) for the term 2018-2022.
Rajeev Deshpande of Nashik and Sudhir Bhiwapurkar of Nagpur have been re-elected as the joint secretary and treasurer of the association, a media release said Friday.
Former president of MSLTA, Sharad Kannamwar, has been elected as the life president of the association.
The results of the elections of the quadrennial elections were announced at the AGM of the MSLTA held here.
"We hope that our new managing committee, which is representing all the regions of Maharashtra, will take the game forward in their areas and help to create new champions and take the sport of tennis to new level," said Oza.
