Bharatiya Mahila Bank has signed an MoU with Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry BWW for supporting women entrepreneurs in the state of Gujarat.
The state-run bank would help in empowering women in Gujarat through its various products, bank's Chairman and Managing Director Usha Ananthasubramanian said.
The lender would address financing needs in terms of technology upgradation, marketing, diversification by utilising the services of the industry chamber, a statement said.
GCCI-BWW Chairperson Veena Parikh said that Gujarat already has a significant number of women entrepreneurs and that the MoU with Bharatiya Mahila Bank would help in encouraging more women to become entrepreneurs.
