Union Minister Uma Bharti said that the BJP would get a majority in the Maharashtra assembly elections as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed meetings all over the state.

The Water Resources Minister said this yesterday while campaigning for BJP candidate from here, Rajendra Gondkar.

However, she refused to comment on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray's recent statement that the BJP had not only broken off its alliance but also blamed the Sena for it.

Before starting her campaign, Uma Bharti went to the famous Sai Baba temple.

She also refused to comment on controversial statements about Sai Baba made by Shankaracharya Swarupananda recently.
