Shares of tower firm Bharti Infratel today surrendered all its early gains and ended flat even as the company reported a 68 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
After surging 3 per cent to Rs 299.25 in intra-day trade on the BSE, the stock finally ended at Rs 289.15, down 0.40 per cent.
At the NSE, the scrip closed with a loss of 0.34 per cent at Rs 289.40.

Bharti Infratel had yesterday reported a 68 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 465 crore for the September quarter on the back of increased number of tenants on towers.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 277 crore in the corresponding period last financial year.
Revenue of the company rose 9 per cent to Rs 2,930 crore for the second quarter of 2015 fiscal as compared to Rs 2,684 crore last time, the company had said in a statement.
