The BJP leader, who remained conspicuous by her absence in the long budget session of the House, earlier had also not taken oath of the House along with other members.
She, however, made a brief appearance in the House this morning and was introduced to the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav by another senior party leader Kalraj Mishra at the time when the House was not in order due to BSP protest over law and order situation.
The two leaders (Uma Bharti and Yadav)also went out of the house later.
Bharti later told reporters that she had a very brief interaction with the chief minister during which she handed over a letter mentioning different development works in her constituency regarding tourism, roads ect.
