Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh over the issues of law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.
"UP situation is worrisome. Law and order is too deteriorated. A dalit was burnt in my own district but more worrisome is the attitude of UP government towards such incidents," Bharti told reporters after meeting Singh.
Bharti said she wanted to inform him as Singh is the party president and she is the vice-president of BJP.
"Those in the (UP) government...Their ministers' statement are objectionable and inciting," she said.
Bharti is Lok Sabha member from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh.
