BHEL posts Rs 204 crore loss in Q2

State-run BHEL today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 204.90 crore for the July-September quarter of 2015-16.

The power equipment maker had posted a net profit of Rs 124.84 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, the company said in a BSE filing today.

Total income has decreased to Rs 6,311.23 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015, from Rs 6,340.14 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, it said.

It further said that the company has an outstanding order book position of Rs 1,12,300 crore at the end of the second quarter of this fiscal.
