Press Trust of India Jind
Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today hinted a possible organisational change in the Haryana Congress "on the lines of Punjab".

Speaking to the media persons here, the senior Congress leader said the party High Command knows well which state's (party) executive is to be changed and at what time.

There will definitely be changes in the Haryana Congress on the lines of Punjab when "right time" comes, Hooda said.

Speaking about the FIR lodged on December 19 in the case of alleged irregularities in allotment of plots, Hooda reiterated he has done "no wrong" during his regime.

The BJP government is registering cases against the Congress leaders in "desperation" because all stratas of the society are "unhappy" with them as they didn't fulfill any of their promises, he said.

He said the farmers' produce have been "destroyed" and there is a "scams of thousands of crores" of rupees in 'girdwari' (survey) of the crops and purchase of paddy.

"The government is using mean tactics to divert people's attention from these scams," he alleged.

He said his party will "not tolerate" if the state government surrenders 800 MW power to the Centre and "we will organise a dharna against this on January 5 at Jhadli."

Talking about a proposal to rename the Mohali-Chandigarh airport after Mangal Sein he said the airport's name after Bhagat Singh should be continued.

"Mangal Sein was a very good man and the state government should build another project in his name," he said.

Responding to the Union Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh's accusations in cash-for-change of land use (CLU) "scam" during his regime, Hooda said CLUs have taken place earlier and are taking place now as well.
