Bhushan was here to take part in a rally organised by the Narmada Bachao Andolan to protest against the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest's decision to give permission to fill water up to a level of 154 metres in the dam for the Maheshwar Hydro-Electric project.
"A lot of corruption had taken place in awarding the contract to the private party," Bhushan said, adding, water should not be allowed to be filled until all rehabilitation was complete.
Those in power were making baseless allegations against Team Anna, he added.
