"Grimmie, can you hear me?" he said while fighting back tears during the heartfelt performance. Fans captured the moment on camera, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Grimmie, 22, who was a participant on "The Voice" season six, was shot dead on June 11 after while signing autographs following a performance in Orlando, Florida.
